L’intervento si pone l’obiettivo di realizzare un lungomare pedonale attrezzato comprendendo anche la riqualificazione dell’arenile.
In generale verrà ampliato il percorso pedonale attraverso la costruzione di una nuova passeggiata larga circa 10 ml che si estende verso il mare, attrezzata con sedute, portabiciclette, cestini per la raccolta differenziata, piazzole per attività turistiche ed enogastronomiche, piantumazione di alberi ed in generale tutto quanto possa servire ai fruitori.

Affiancata a questa, ma a livelli inferiori, verranno posizionate una corsia preferenziale per l’attività di jogging (con larghezza variabile tra 1,50 e 2,00 mt) ed una pista ciclabile (larga tra i 3,00 e i 3,50mt).

Il progetto ha come punto di partenza l’area del faro, che rappresenta un punto nodale di collegamento verso la piazza Sorelle Arduino, ma rappresenta anche un elemento storico e culturale, essendo oggi centro d’informazione turistica.

E’ proprio in questo snodo che si realizzerà una piazza dove ospitare manifestazioni, mercatini, dove ci saranno spazi attrezzati per i bambini, chioschi e zone attrezzate per attività pubbliche.
Il progetto prevede, attraverso elementi di arredo urbano o la realizzazione di strutture sportive, di configurare questa piazza come catalizzatore di aggregazione.
Il nuovo percorso pedonale, si estenderà verso la spiaggia attraverso una gettata di cemento,mentre gli altri due percorsi, da jogging e ciclabile, saranno appoggiati sulla sabbia mediante un armato in cls.
